Joe Askham

Joe is a registered nurse and has worked in various clinical, management and leadership roles in his career. Joe has worked as a turn around Home Manager with a successful CQC inspection and more recently as a Specialist Functional Disability Analyst for the Department for Works and Pensions for both physical and mental health conditions for various benefit packages.

Joe’s role involves working with both pre and post settlement cases. He has experience in setting up and leading community-based rehabilitation programmes with various stake holders.

Joe has experience of managing support workers as well as co-ordinating professionals to meet the changing needs of his clients. Joe has worked with clients with a variety of needs, ranging from those who are totally dependent to setting up support- rehabilitation for his client’s bespoke needs.

Joe is now a case manager with JSP. He is responsible for co-ordinating and monitoring holistic, client centred support and rehabilitation with a view to achieving positive outcomes for his complex clients. This is achieved through a multidisciplinary approach, client advocacy and a passion for helping his clients realise their full potential.
