Fen Parry

Fen qualified as a Social Worker in 1988 and worked with adults with learning difficulties and physical disabilities in Edinburgh, before undertaking post qualifying training as a Mental Health Officer and as a Practice Teacher. In 1997 she took up the post of Senior Social Worker in the Scottish Neurobehavioural Rehabilitation Service, working with clients, families and professional across Scotland to put in place packages of care and facilitate discharge planning.

In 2003 Fen and a colleague set up the JSP Scotland office and she is now a Regional Lead. Her role includes casework: setting up and managing packages of care, rehabilitation, therapy and support; preparing reports such as Care Expert reports for the court; managing the team and developing the service. She has a person centred approach and works to ensure the client’s goals are the focus of any and all interventions.
