What client-specific training do care and support staff need?
It is important for staff to be trained in line with laws and professional standards that care providers must adhere to. The health and social care service regulator, The Care Quality Commission (CQC), requires staff to receive ‘appropriate training’ and take part in a full induction before they start work. This means that complex care training is an essential part of training and development for staff undertaking the care of individuals with complex health needs.
