Our training team offers a wide range of mandatory and client-specific training to our in-house staff as well as to our clients' Support Workers and external delegates.

Our courses are available over live interactive webinars or bespoke face-to-face sessions.

Core and Mandatory Training

Our Support Worker training programme covers all the core and mandatory training titles as defined by Skills for Care, our training is never just a ‘tick in the box’. Each session is tailored to meet the needs of the client by instilling the necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviours required for the support worker to deliver high quality, safe and effective person-centred care.

Brain Injury Training

We offer a brain injury training pathway for support workers and professionals and a variety of other BI related courses. We offer regular open courses throughout the year, or training can be developed to meet the bespoke needs of a learner group .

Team Leader Training

Our training for team leaders within health and social care, has been written considering the requirements and demands of the role. This training includes roles and boundaries, performance, priorities and goal setting and supervision and appraisal.

Essential Brain Injury
2 half days

An introductory level 6-hour

 course suitable for Support Workers, Carers or other staff new to working with clients living with a brain injury.

Practical Brain Injury
4 half days

An intermediate level 12=hour course ideal for those who have attended introductory level brain injury training and suitable for established staff working with clients living with the effects of brain injury.

Essential Cerebral Palsy
2 half days

An introductory level 6 hours course suitable for Support Workers, Carers or other staff new to working with clients living with the effects of cerebral palsy

Working with an Individual with an Acquired Brain Injury in the Community
5 day course

A concise accredited course comprising 30 hours classroom based learning plus independent portfolio work. This course is suitable for Support Workers, Carers or other staff currently working with clients living with a brain injury. After completion learners will receive a certificate accredited by Skills and Education Group Awards

An advanced level 12 hour course ideal for Support Workers and Carers who have been working in the field of brain injury for some time and have completed previous brain injury training

1 half day 

A half day session ideal for those who work closely with a client's family or significant others in the course of their role.  The course aims to increase understanding of the families experience and ways to work effectively together.

A half day session introducing what Positive Behaviour Support is, why we should use it and how to work in a positive and pro-active way to minimise the use of restrictive practices.

An intermediate level 12 hour course suitable for current or prospective Team Leaders to enhance their skills in leading a support team
